Job Summary
Outline and prepare daily routines for clients based on Individual Program Plans, while assisting with dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing needs. Support residents by facilitating family visits, leisure activities, and peer socialization. Maintain a clean, safe environment, prepare daily meals, and assist with personal care tasks including clothing changes. Transport clients in a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement and report incidents to administrators. This part-time role in Rosemead, CA, requires Mon-Fri 3pm-9pm shifts. Candidates must have a California driver's license, first aid/CPR certification, and at least one year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a California Driver's License
- Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check
- Must have First Aid / CPR
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire)
