Job Summary
Conduct event setup by arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment while greeting and directing guests upon arrival. Monitor party activities to ensure safety and enjoyment, explain rules, and assist with crowd control. Manage retail operations by welcoming customers, assessing needs, processing payments, and recommending products. Clean and restock the store before opening and after closing, including sorting, pricing, and certifying items. Assist with social media creation and adhere to the party schedule. Clean up activities, set up thrones and presents during events, and remove trash and spills afterward.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- The ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Comprehensive understanding of the store products
- Advanced customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- The ability to use a cash register
- Strong level of professionalism at work
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proven work experience working as a Retail Associate or a similar role
- Flexibility to work various shifts including specified holidays
