Party Host

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events inside a Michaels store in Tustin, CA, including kids birthday parties and craft classes; deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in-store and at checkout, and perform operational tasks (truck unload, merchandise duties, store recovery). Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects, perform face painting and related activities, and implement party add-ons (goody bags, balloons). Communicate events with clients and team members; adjust plans based on client feedback; create backup/emergency plans; ensure client satisfaction and adherence to store standards. Perform tasks across customer experience, omni-channel activities (BOPIS/SFS), inventory processes (truck unload, planogram adherence, SISO, AD sets), and SOP/compliance. Maintain cleanliness and safety; participate in daily store duties and cross-train in Custom Framing; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Must have experience with children’s events and strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; benefits include healthcare, paid time off, tuition assistance, and employee discounts.
