Job Summary
Transport and set up surveying instruments, including Trimble GPS and total stations, while running level loops for vertical control on topographic surveys. Calculate property corner positions along right-of-ways, prepare metes and bounds descriptions, and locate missing corners by taking photos and measuring site features. Upload project data files, download collected data, and generate text files for CAD work while maintaining detailed field notes. Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, driving to various sites, and working outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- HS Graduate or GED
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Occasional lifting/carrying of 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds
- Driving to and from various project sites
- Walking and working outdoors under variable weather conditions
- Heavy Travel
