Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events at a Michaels store in Abbotsford, BC, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. Deliver friendly customer service, assist guests in locating products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout. Lead party activities such as crafting projects and face painting; arrange party add-ons (goody bags, balloons) and manage multiple events simultaneously. Communicate with clients and store team, handle administrative tasks (emails, calls, paperwork), adjust plans per client feedback, and develop backup/ emergency plans. Responsibilities include assisting with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS), stocking and planogram duties, store in-stock optimization, shrink and safety programs, SOP compliance, and maintaining store cleanliness. Must be energetic with excellent people skills, ability to work with children and guests of all ages, and strong organizational and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications

- Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills
- Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills
