Party and Event Host

Party and Event Host at Michaels Store in Wake Forest, NC responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events (including kids’ birthday parties) within the store, delivering friendly customer service, assisting guests with product needs, and handling event logistics such as setup, breakdown, and activities like face painting. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, engaging participants of all ages, instructing craft projects, coordinating add-ons (goody bags, balloons), handling administrative tasks (emails, calls, paperwork), adjusting plans based on client feedback, ensuring safety and store standards, and supporting omni-channel processes and stock/merchandising tasks as needed. Must be able to stay energetic, engage guests, and communicate effectively; prior experience with children’s events and strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
