Job Summary
Operate manual and powered industrial equipment to receive, pick, pack, stock, and ship products across the distribution center. Unload vendors, stack materials, and transfer items between locations while maintaining safety standards and good housekeeping. Weigh and load trucks for shipping and perform cycle counting or RF scanning as needed. Work Monday through Thursday from 3:15 pm to 8:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to become certified through the Sally Beauty Lift Truck Training Program in order to efficiently and safely operate a forklift within the time frame specified by Leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to adjust to change and interruptions
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to lift 10 to 55 pounds
- Must be able to stand/walk for 6 to 10 hours a day
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience preferred in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent work experience including the operation of heavy equipment
