Job Summary
Ship and receive parts, manage inventory storage, and execute order picking for the Parts Department. Handle primary material duties including pulling orders for customers and shop personnel, then deliver parts via company truck to various locations. Complete required paperwork and computer data entry while looking up part numbers in equipment books or online resources. Maintain a clean driving record and wear approved safety equipment while lifting up to 75 pounds in a warehouse environment with occasional local travel. Work Monday through Friday with overtime and Saturdays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience
- Self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Computer knowledge/experience
- Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the warehouse
- Ability to handle general math calculations on money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years)
- Must be flexible during peak season to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in both a warehouse environment with some outside exposure and office environment
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time, answer phone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email
- Ability to walk, bend and lift up to 75 pounds
- Wearing of approved safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses with side shields and steel toe footwear)
Desired Qualifications
- Lift truck experience (certification preferred)
- Ability to look up part numbers in equipment parts books or online resources and assist customers
