Job Summary
Manage parts inventory and shipping/receiving operations by inspecting shipments for damage and quantity, stocking items in correct bins, and verifying part numbers against packing slips. Process daily inbound deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and GM drivers, count received goods, and sign for them. Execute outbound logistics by packaging return-to-vendor shipments, loading and unloading parts trucks with a forklift, and fulfilling special or emergency orders. Report stock discrepancies, write up damage claims, shortages, and overages, and maintain accurate shipping records. Keep the warehouse clean, secure the building at close, and perform annual inventory counts.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year tenure at previous employers working in warehouse/returns
- You have experience with working in returns
- Valid Driver's License
- Hazardous material handling certification
- Fork lift operator certification
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be available for Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Must NOT work weekends
