Job Summary
Parts Warehouse Associate/Driver at Fowler Volkswagen responsible for receiving shipments, verifying orders, stocking inventory with bin locations, picking parts for counter sales, processing returns and paperwork for shipments, assisting with annual inventory and returns, and supporting deliveries to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Requires a Valid Driver's License with a permissible MVR, ability to drive up to 250 miles per day, professional customer communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Education requirement is a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience). The role includes unloading trucks, handling cash/check returns through the cashier, and adherence to safety and company policies. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License
- MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
- Ability to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic and drive up to 250 miles per day
- Must be able to communicate with customers professionally
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with company policies and safety standards
