Job Summary
Manage daily parts orders using electronic systems, ensuring timely fulfillment and efficient filing while researching and communicating costs. Complete broker paperwork for international shipping to the USA via carriers like XPO, UPS, or Manitoulin, and assist with inventory maintenance. Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety across all operations. Requires a valid Class 5 license, reliable vehicle, and CSA-approved steel-toed boots. Schedule involves 10+ hours daily, including Saturdays and Sundays as needed, with overtime after 8 hours or 44 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6" ankle support
- Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment
- Journeyperson and Apprentices will be considered for this position
- Apprentices must be in good standing with AIT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior CAT - SIS experience
- Prior Komatsu experience
- GET/Undercarriage knowledge
- Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background
