Parts Technician

Job Summary
Conduct walk-in and phone inquiries to troubleshoot parts issues for multi-line agriculture equipment, ensuring customers receive accurate supplies in a timely manner. Manage inventory levels, receive and organize shipments, and maintain precise stock records using IntelliDealer while promoting seasonal items to meet sales targets. Pick, pack, and ship orders, track backlogs, and prepare documentation for safe transport. Stay current on product lines, OEM cross-reference systems, and WHMIS information through regular training and toolbox talks. Work cooperatively with the team to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment, with a willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural, industrial parts, or a related field
- Familiarity with parts catalogs, OEM reference systems, and cross-referencing tools
- Computer proficiency for data entry, order processing, and inventory tracking
- IntelliDealer experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service
- High attention to detail and accuracy when identifying, handling, and recording parts
- Organized and efficient with proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Sales-oriented mindset, including suggestive selling and ability to promote additional products and accessories
- Basic warehousing knowledge, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and record keeping
- Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons and adjust to changing priorities
