Job Summary
Parts Technician/Advisor role supporting Kinloch Equipment & Supply in Arlington, TX. You will provide customer service for internal and external customers, respond with quotes or information, issue POs and receipts, research part availability, search part numbers, communicate parts allocations to service work orders, maintain back-order reports, cross-sell parts, assist in scheduling with Rentals/Sales/Service, and perform shipping/receiving duties. Requires staying up to date on products and protocols, on-call coverage, and collaborating across departments. Strong computer/ERP skills and forklift license or willingness to obtain one are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in a heavy equipment, construction or automotive parts and/or service environment
- 2-3 years’ experience in Inventory Management
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/Inventory Management systems
- Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to heavy equipment parts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals within and outside of the organization
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Able to effectively communicate with all other departments in the facility
- Detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check in accordance with applicable laws
- Must have a forklift license or willing to obtain
