Job Summary
Administer OSHA and Yancey Brothers safety guidelines while maintaining a clean warehouse and parts counter environment. Process daily operational requirements including stock, customer, shop, and transfer orders, manage hydraulic hose assembly with contamination control, and oversee core and warranty part return processes. Schedule department staff, train local personnel, and reconcile cash collections and customer disputes. Maintain assigned equipment such as forklifts and scanners, assist in branch profitability, and communicate performance issues to the Regional Parts Manager. Work normal operating hours with a focus on safety, integrity, and superior customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience
- Able to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive devices
- Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (email, internet, basic data entry)
- Problem solving and multitasking
- Safety conscious and customer focused
- Be self-driven and take pride in your work
Desired Qualifications
- Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment
