Job Summary
Parts Supervisor overseeing the Parts Department operations, providing leadership to the parts counter and warehouse staff to ensure high customer service and maximum equipment uptime. Responsible for inventory balancing with service, sales, and retail needs; establishing pricing parameters for profitability and loyalty; monitoring stock levels to prevent obsolescence; processing returns for maximum credit; placing weekly stock and special orders; collaborating with Product Support Representatives to drive new business; resolving customer service issues efficiently; supporting the Service Department with parts; ensuring accurate paperwork and adherence to regulations and safety standards; leading and mentoring the team to maximize productivity; communicating goals and expectations; resolving conflicts with HR and the Branch Manager; providing technical assistance to employees and customers; participating in annual physical inventory and implementing manufacturer training programs; performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the heavy equipment or related industry.
- Associate’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions, especially in construction and forestry equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and technical skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
