Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional customers with parts selection and service needs. Maintain cash drawers, process transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in compliance with company policy. Execute daily operational tasks including planogram updates, stocking, cleaning, inventory counts, and merchandise returns. Operate brake lathes and other test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as wiper installation and battery testing. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle for business needs. Complete assigned company training and promote customer service programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
