Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist installer service specialists with parts selection and premium recommendations. Maintain cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies. Execute daily operational tasks including planogram updates, stocking shelves, inventory cycle counts, and merchandise returns. Operate brake lathes and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning trouble codes. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Complete assigned company training and promote customer service programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
