Job Summary
Order and stock parts, materials, tools, and supplies while managing inventory cycles and tracking Repair Statements. Pull and deliver parts using record-keeping software to ensure maximum efficiency in the shop. Use proprietary technology to assess and care for field vehicles, following safety procedures and assisting in additional areas as directed by your supervisor. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a forklift certification. This role supports U-Haul's largest fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring they remain maintained for customers through hands-on working interviews and a $100 hiring bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's license and the ability to maintain clean driving record
- Ability to learn and rigorously follow safety procedures
- Forklift Certified
- Ability to collaborate and support others
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
- Must be able to work with moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions (e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals)
- Must not use nicotine products
