Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional installer service specialists with parts selection and service needs. Execute daily operational tasks including planogram updates, inventory cycle counts, and merchandise stocking. Perform in-store services such as battery testing, code scanning, and wiper installation, while operating store test equipment after training. Manage cash drawer security, process credit transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in compliance with company policy. Resolve customer complaints promptly and promote customer service programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Complete assigned company training and assist with monthly stock adjustments and freight receival.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
