Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level customer service to retail and installer customers, greets customers, assists in selecting merchandise, quotes prices, processes transactions, maintains cash drawer, handles exchanges/returns, supports daily store operations including stocking and merchandising, plans image updates, and may perform occasional vehicle deliveries. Bilingual candidates encouraged; ASE certification is mentioned as a desirable credential. The role involves assisting management and service specialists, training, and contributing to company programs and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- Driving record must meet company requirements for delivery duties
- Must be able to complete training and operate store test equipment after training
