Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist installer service specialists with parts selection and premium recommendations. Maintain cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies. Execute daily operational tasks including planogram updates, inventory cycle counts, and merchandise stocking. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as battery testing and code scanning. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Complete assigned company training and promote customer service programs like Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
