Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer store phone calls, and assist professional installer service specialists with parts selection and service needs. Maintain the cash drawer, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with company policy. Execute daily operational tasks including image maker completion, planogram updates, freight receival, and stocking shelves. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle trouble codes. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
