Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist professional customers with parts selection and service needs. Promote company programs like Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee while recommending premium items and resolving complaints. Manage cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with policy. Maintain store image through planogram updates, stocking, and cleaning; prepare merchandise returns and perform inventory cycle counts. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as battery testing and headlight replacement. Occasionally drive delivery vehicles when business needs dictate. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
