Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist professional customers as directed. Follow and promote company customer service programs including Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee while accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending premium items. Process exchanges, returns, and cash or credit card transactions securely. Maintain the cash drawer, complete daily image maker updates, and perform stock adjustments or cycle counts. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle. Install wipers, test batteries, scan trouble codes, and replace headlight capsules where permitted. Complete assigned company training and support store management with assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
