Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist installer service specialists with professional customer needs. Execute daily operational tasks including planogram updates, inventory cycle counts, merchandise returns, and operating store test equipment like brake lathes. Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions while managing exchanges and returns in accordance with company policy. Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning trouble codes, occasionally driving delivery vehicles when required. Complete assigned company training and promote all customer service programs including the Low-Price Guarantee.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
