Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist installer service specialists with professional customer needs. Execute daily operational tasks including image maker completion, planogram updates, inventory cycle counts, and merchandise returns. Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions while maintaining the cash drawer, and resolve customer complaints. Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as wiper installation and battery testing. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Complete assigned company training and promote all customer service programs including Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
