Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, assist them in merchandise selection, and answer phone calls to look up parts, quote prices, and recommend related items. Follow and promote company customer service programs like the Low-Price Guarantee while addressing complaints and processing exchanges and returns. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, handle credit card transactions, and complete daily image maker and planogram updates including stocking and cleaning. Operate brake lathe and test equipment, perform in-store services such as battery testing and code scanning, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle. Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customer needs and complete assigned training. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
