Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, assist them in merchandise selection, and answer phone calls to look up parts, quote prices, and recommend items while maintaining the Low-Price Guarantee. Process exchanges, returns, and cash or credit card transactions, resolving complaints in a friendly manner. Maintain the cash drawer, complete image maker updates, planogram changes, and perform inventory cycle counts. Operate brake lathes and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services like installing wipers and testing batteries where permitted. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle. Complete assigned company training and support store management with daily operational tasks. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
