Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional service specialists with parts selection and premium recommendations. Promptly process cash, checks, and credit card transactions while managing exchanges and returns in accordance with company policy. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, complete daily image maker tasks, update planograms, and perform inventory cycle counts. Operate brake lathes and other test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as battery testing, code scanning, and wiper installation. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. This role supports store management and promotes customer service programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
