Job Summary
The Parts Specialist role involves providing high-level service to retail and installer customers, supporting store management, handling cash and credit transactions, processing exchanges/returns, answering calls and assisting with parts recommendations, and performing daily store operations and occasional vehicle deliveries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; strong emphasis on customer service, accuracy in parts lookup and pricing, and adherence to company policies and training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask and manage cash handling and credit card transactions per company policy
- Ability to process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner
- Ability to assist with store operations such as stocking shelves, planogram updates, and inventory counts
- Ability to drive a delivery vehicle when required, with driving eligibility as per company policy
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and related systems (desired)
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- ASE certification (desired)
- Ability to learn and follow training programs
