Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality service to retail and installer customers, greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, answering phone inquiries, managing cash transactions, processing exchanges and returns, maintaining inventory, and performing in-store services such as testing vehicle systems. Candidates should possess strong multitasking abilities and excellent customer service skills, while a background in automotive sales or service and familiarity with automotive parts is preferred. The position promotes a strong career growth philosophy within O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
