Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, supports store management, greets customers, assists with merchandise selection, quotes prices, processes transactions, handles exchanges/returns, resolves complaints, assists with planogram updates and daily store operations, performs in-store services (e.g., installing wipers, battery tests), and may drive a delivery vehicle when needed. Bilingual candidates encouraged; ASE certification and automotive parts familiarity are preferred. The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in transactions, capable multitasking, and contributing to a positive store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
- Multitask effectively handling store and phone customers
- Desirable: bilingual (Spanish)
- Desirable: ASE certification
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (preferred)
