Job Summary

Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, assists with store management tasks, handles customer inquiries by phone and in-person, processes exchanges/returns, maintains cash drawer and sales transactions, executes daily store operations (stocking, planograms, freight receival), and may perform light in-store services and occasional deliveries. The role requires strong customer service, multitasking across phone and in-store interactions, familiarity with automotive parts or willingness to learn, and bilingual ability (Spanish encouraged). The position supports store management and emphasizes customer-forward service aligned with company programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, related selling, Rock the Lot).

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
  • Multitask effectively handling customers on the phone and in-store
  • Ability to accurately look up parts and quote prices
  • Ability to process cash/credit transactions
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and cataloging is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish encouraged
  • Overtime or driving responsibilities as needed (delivery vehicle operation may occur)
