Job Summary
The Parts Specialist provides high-level customer service to both retail and installer customers, greeting them promptly, assisting in merchandise selection, and handling customer inquiries over the phone. Key responsibilities include maintaining a cash drawer, processing exchanges, addressing customer complaints, and performing various daily operational tasks related to inventory and merchandise returns. The position also involves operating store test equipment and may require occasional deliveries. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and the capability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
