Job Summary
Provide high-level customer service to retail and installer customers; greet and assist in selecting merchandise; support store management and professional customers; manage phone inquiries, price lookups, and quotes; process exchanges/returns and handle cash and credit card transactions; perform daily store operations (stocking, planogram updates, deliveries when needed), and assist with equipment operation after training; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; opportunities for growth within a values-driven, promotion-from-within environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask effectively
- Handle customers on the phone and in-store
- Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately
- Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner
- Assist with daily store operations and planogram updates
- Operating brake lathe and other store test equipment after training
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitasking while handling customers on the phone and in-store
