Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing high levels of customer service to retail and installer customers, promoting company customer service programs, and assisting in various operational tasks. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with product selection, maintaining cash drawers, processing returns, resolving complaints, and performing in-store services where permitted. Required skills include the ability to multitask, strong customer service capabilities, and quick alphanumeric matching. Candidates with automotive knowledge and bilingual abilities may have a competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging and weatherly index system knowledge
- Automotive sales or service experience
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
