Job Summary
The Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, supports store management, greets customers, assists in selecting merchandise, handles phone inquiries, looks up parts and quotes prices, processes cash/credit transactions, handles exchanges/returns, resolves customer complaints, assists with planogram updates and daily operations, and performs in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test/charge batteries, test charging systems, scan trouble codes, replace headlight capsules). Will operate a brake lathe after training and may drive deliveries when needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; ASE certification and multilingual abilities are valued for driving and service tasks. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
- Multitask in-person and phone interactions
- Familiarity with automotive parts preferred
- Knowledge of cataloging and automotive sales or service ASE certification desired
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
