Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional customers as directed. Execute daily operational tasks including image maker completion, planogram updates, stocking shelves, and inventory cycle counts. Process cash and credit card transactions, handle exchanges and returns, and resolve customer complaints. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, perform vehicle services like battery testing and code scanning, and make deliveries when needed. Complete assigned company training and promote customer service programs such as Hi-5 and the Low Price Guarantee.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Ability to operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met
- Ability to occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate
- Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
