Job Summary
The Parts Specialist will provide high-level customer service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management with various tasks. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, maintaining the cash drawer, processing transactions, and addressing customer complaints. The role necessitates multitasking and effective communication skills. Additional duties involve operating test equipment, performing in-store services where permitted, and executing daily operational tasks. Candidates should be capable of matching alphanumeric sequences and delivering professional service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
