Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional customers by looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending related items. Process exchanges, returns, and credit transactions while maintaining the cash drawer and handling checks or credit cards. Complete daily image maker updates, planogram changes, and stocking tasks, including freight receival, fronting, and facing. Operate brake lathes and other test equipment after training, and perform in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning trouble codes. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Multitask between phone and store interactions while promoting company programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
