Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality service to retail and installer customers, supporting store management, and managing customer transactions. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting in merchandise selection, handling phone inquiries with professionalism, maintaining accurate cash drawer operations, processing returns, and addressing customer complaints. The role requires strong multitasking abilities and customer service skills. Bilingual candidates are encouraged, particularly those fluent in Spanish. Additional duties include preparing returns, performing inventory tasks, operating test equipment, and occasionally driving for deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging experience
- Weatherly index system knowledge
- Automotive sales or service experience
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
