Job Summary
Parts Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts delivers high-level service to retail and installer customers, greets walk-in customers, assists with parts selection, processes transactions, maintains cash handling procedures, supports store management with daily tasks, updates planograms, handles exchanges/returns, and may perform in-store services and occasional deliveries after training. Bilingual candidates encouraged. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge in automotive parts, and adherence to company policies and training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Ability to look up parts and quote prices, and process credit card transactions
- Ability to maintain and secure the cash drawer and handle exchanges/returns
- Familiarity with inventory tasks (stocking shelves, planogram updates) and in-store services as allowed by state/local law
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
