Job Summary
Greet walk-in and retail customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional customers while promoting programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Accurately process cash, credit card, and exchange transactions, and resolve complaints in a friendly manner. Maintain the cash drawer, complete image maker updates, and perform daily operational tasks including stocking, cleaning, and inventory counts. Operate brake lathe equipment, prepare merchandise returns, and conduct monthly stock adjustments. Perform in-store services such as installing wipers and testing batteries, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
