Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing high levels of customer service to both retail and installer customers. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, managing phone orders, handling cash transactions, processing exchanges, and addressing customer complaints. The role also involves tasks related to store operations, such as inventory management and merchandise returns. Candidates should possess strong multitasking abilities and excellent customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
