Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist installer service specialists with professional customer needs. Maintain the cash drawer, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with company policy. Complete assigned training, update image makers and planograms, and perform daily operational tasks including inventory cycle counts and merchandise returns. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Address and resolve customer complaints while promoting programs like Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
