Job Summary
The Parts Specialist provides all retail and installer customers with a high level of service and supports store management in assigned tasks. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with parts selection and quotes, processing transactions and returns, resolving customer complaints, and supporting merchandising and daily in-store operations. The role also involves executing company customer service programs, handling phone inquiries, occasional delivery driving, and encouraging bilingual candidates to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system
- O’Reilly Auto Parts employee benefits and equal opportunity employer information might be required for employment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- ASE certification is desirable
- Ability to perform daily operational tasks including stocking and merchandising
- Ability to drive a delivery vehicle when needed (driving record meets requirements)
