Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist installer service specialists with professional customer needs. Follow and promote company customer service programs like Hi-5 and Low Price Guarantee while recommending premium items and resolving complaints. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with policies. Complete daily image maker updates, planogram changes, stocking, and cleaning tasks. Perform operational duties including preparing merchandise returns, conducting inventory cycle counts, and operating brake lathe test equipment after training. Occasionally deliver parts using a company vehicle when business needs dictate. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
