Job Summary
The Parts Specialist provides high-level customer service to retail and installer customers, assisting with merchandise selection and handling transactions. Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering phone inquiries, maintaining cash drawers, processing returns, resolving complaints, and assisting with inventory tasks. Candidates must demonstrate strong multitasking abilities and customer service skills. Additional tasks may include operating store test equipment and performing in-store services for customers in compliance with state laws.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
