Job Summary
Parts Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts responsible for delivering high-level customer service to retail and installer customers, assisting store management with tasks, and supporting professional customers. Responsibilities include greeting customers, performing related selling and upsell activities, answering store phone calls, looking up parts and quoting prices, processing exchanges/returns, handling cash and credit transactions, maintaining stock, assisting with planogram updates, stocking, and basic in-store services (e.g., replacing wiper blades, testing batteries, diagnosing issues with vehicle systems) after training. The role also involves occasionally driving a delivery vehicle to fulfill business needs, operating store test equipment after training, and participating in required training programs. Desired qualifications include familiarity with automotive parts, bilingual (Spanish) abilities, ASE certification, and fluency in multiple languages.
