Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, greets customers, assists with merchandise selection, looks up parts and quotes prices, processes exchanges/returns, handles cash and credit card transactions, and supports store management with daily tasks. Responsibilities include training completion, answering store calls, maintaining the cash drawer, advising customers on related items, and performing in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries/charging system, read trouble codes). Occasional delivery driving may be required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and planogram updates is preferred. The role emphasizes customer service, inventory upkeep, and store operations, aligned with O'Reilly Auto Parts' promotion-from-within culture.
